Make the perfect day! Looking for some fun? Explore the gnomes, find the tree faces and play some lawn games. Need some relaxation? Stroll the flower fields, get lost in the fragrance of sweet peas, or lay back for a relaxing picnic. No matter what you need, Gnomelicious Lavender farm can help you to have a great visit.
Our oldest field sits at the front of the farm and is a mix of french, english and other cultivars. With over a dozen varieties there are lavender of every color. Fresh lavender bundles are cut daily from this field. Just let us know your favorites to take home!
A new, easily accessible field sits next to the perennial garden and provides access to lavender for anyone looking to rest their feetsies. This garden, once mature, will be the future home for u-cut for those needing a more accessible option.
Surrounded by sheep and horses, our French field has over 1500 Grosso lavender plants and is celebrating its first birthday. Grosso is one of the most fragrant and most widely used lavender variety for essential oil.
Brand new this year is the English lavender field. This field houses over 1100 plants. English lavender, often called culinary lavender, is sweet smelling and used as an herb in cooking and teas.
Have you ever smelled a flower that smells like chocolate? Did you know that artichokes make beautiful flowers? The perennial garden has everything from gladiolus to peonies. Each year we add onto the garden to build a perennial oasis.
Sweet Pea Garden
There is nothing as fragrant as walking down an aisle surrounded by sweet peas on all sides. Back to Dirt Farm's sweet pea garden houses over 55 varieties and 2000+ plants. We grow sweet peas because we love these old-fashioned flowers and want to make hard to find varieties available to the home gardener.
Throughout the farm you will find fruit trees, nut trees, berry bushes, perennial and annual food plants. Visit each year to watch the food forest, located behind the shop, grow and expand. Hopefully the ducks and gnomes can keep it protected!
Each year we add new wildflower strips to help our pollinators and restore our farmland to a sustainable and beautiful place birds, bees and butterflies can enjoy. These pollinator strips are funded, in part, by your gift shop purchases.
Owl creek runs through the farm and is surrounded by a small forest patch. Enjoy a short hike between the gardens to the lavender fields through the forest of many 'faces'. Don't be surprised to find some funny trees.
Meet the turkey's, Turks and Caicos, the gentlemen of the food forest. Meet the ducks: Spot, JR and Mama who are sure to be enjoying the creek.
Garden gnomes are said to bring good luck and protect the garden. Find your favorite gnomes throughout the farm. Play the Gnome Scavenger Hunt!
Picnic in the Field
Bring your own, or stop by the shop to grab some snacks. We have first come, first serve picnic spots throughout the farm and in the lavender fields.
We have a portable bathroom located near the shop. The bathroom is kept cleaned and well stocked.
Take a piece of the farm home with you! From lavender products to gnomey goodies there is something for everyone in the Gnomelicious farm shop. Fresh lavender bundles available daily when in season.
Farm Fresh Honey and Eggs
